A wise man once said or sang "Don't fear the stormy skies, Rainbows come after the rain" My mama would sing that to me every night when I was younger and living in Tokyo. I was singing it in my head ( you know like humming it ) when a news report came on Tv.
Weatherman: There is a Serve Thunderstorm watch for all of Santa Fe, for those who live on farms, make sure you protect all your animals and crops, the best thing to do for plants is to put up covers on all crops. We will update you on the progessing storm as it happens.
I had to hurry and protect everything on the farm, but I couldn't do it alone .
I called my friends one by one to come out and help me out before the worse could happen. I was also afraid no one would make it to help, but I heard a knock at the door, my friends came to help. Everyone helped out with the protection of everything on the farm, knowing that it would blow away without the covers on the crops . After the preperations were made, we went back inside before the worse could happen. A couple of hours or so later, the storm passed by like hotcakes and we went out to take the covers off the animals and crops. Like I said previously, "Rainbows come after the rain" and you know what happened? A rainbow shining in the sky appeared, it just comes to show that Rainbows truely come after the scariest situations.
